The Montgomery Humane Society prevents cruelty to animals by operating an animal shelter for homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals by;

Operating an adoption center for healthy animals
investigating cruelty and abuse cases
educating the public in animal owner responsibility

The Montgomery Humane Society is a nonprofit organization. We are not a part of the United Way and we are not part of the State. We rely on a variety of sources to generate funds.
