Montgomery Resident Receives Intervention Assistance

March 23rd, 2020

Earlier this month, Ms. Jordan came to the Montgomery Humane Society in tears with her fur baby, 10-year-old Coco. She simply couldn’t afford the tumor-removal surgery that Coco desperately needed and felt that she had no choice but to surrender her to the shelter. Coco would have been at high-risk for euthanasia since she was coming in as a sick, senior pet. Fortunately, Ms. Jordan found out about the Shelter Intervention Program and called right away. After completing a simple application over the phone, Coco was approved for her surgery, treated, and returned to a very grateful Ms. Jordan.
