Our pets are a part of our family, and as we do with every other member of our family, we should be prepared in case of an emergency. While accidents are sometimes unavoidable and a knowledge of first aid practices can be life-saving, the best way to handle emergencies is to try to prevent them.
This clinic will focus on the need for Impulse Control, Recall (come when called), Drop it/Leave it Commands, and Basic Body Language that dogs express taught by Ashton Wells. Dr. Larussa will provide education on trauma situations (bloat, snake bite, bee sting, poison, lacerations, CPR, Heat Stroke) and demonstrate how proper first aid is critical to stabilizing your pet until emergency care is provided.
Due to limited space, we ask that furry family members remain at home. Reservations are required for each participant attending.
